IB Functions Problem 016

Let \(f(x) = \ln(x +2)\), \(x > -2\) and \(g(x) = e^{x-4}\), \(x > 0\).

  1. Find where the graph of \(f\) intersects the \(x\)-axis.
    1. Find \(f(-1.999)\).
    2. Find the range of \(f\).
